September 24 & October 1 from 11 am to 5 pm at 4030 Douglas St. (Victoria Citadel). This class is offered over two days for those that are brand new to gluten-free baking and for those that have been baking for many years. Learn how to use the natural characteristics of the ingredients to increase the nutrition, enhance the taste and texture and reduce or eliminate starches and other fillers common in gluten-free baking. This class covers how to make appropriate substitutions for ingredients that not on hand or restricted for other reasons. This is a fun and interactive class with demonstrations, hands on food science and baking, tasting, recipes, tips and tricks.
